Magic Reservoir, Mormon Reservoir, Little Wood Reservoir, Little Camas Fishing Report
The biggest fish and the best chance of catching triple digit numbers of Perch are going to be at Magic Reservoir. Reports have been great there this year, and the size of the Perch has actually been above average it seems. The other Reservoirs all give decent chances of catching some pan-sized trout.
The roads can be tough, so take a 4x4
Treasure Valley Ponds Fishing Report
Nowhere close to having ice, and certainly not safe even if the weather changes dramatically this winter. But you can sure bank fish.
Cascade Lake, Horsethief Reservoir, Deadwood Reservoir Conditions
Deadwood absolutely requires snow machines to access. Haven't heard much one way or the other there but it's usually great. Horsethief is great for catchable-size trout. Cascade has large trout and massive Perch as usual, but you may have to move around to find them or endure a boring day of fishing. Maybe bring your own entertainment.
Cascade has the easiest access, 4x4 is essentially required to get to Horsethief.
Henry's Lake Fishing Report
Closed until Memorial Day.
There are some truly large Perch there this year to rival Cascade. The trout are big too, and the reservoir is small enough that it's hard not to find the fish. Make sure you pick up your permit before you head out there. The roads are in great shape at the moment.
Almost everywhere has slush and water on top of the ice because of the warmer than average winter and rain/snow. Take tall waterproof boots.
