It took us a while to find the fish. We caught Trout in the main body in the 8-10 feet of water by the North shore, a couple Perch on the North side of the narrows, and then in the middle of the narrows really got into the Crappie and a couple surprise Bass. Yellow jigs were the ticket on this one, a couple bites on the move or the reel but most of them were jigging directly down and using very light, sensitive rod tips or actually even spring bobbers (usually for ice fishing).
Believe it or not, we couldn't see the Crappie on our fish finder. They must have been right on the bottom and came up to investigate the jigs.
